Maketu - Mar 2025

We love Maketu! In the past we have had terrific luck fishing at the river mouth, the Maketu Cut. Unfortunately, that didn't happen this time but we still felt lucky to be selected for a sit here.

We were in the very good company of Ollie.

She was the perfect hostess, so well behaved and obedient, loved her walks and loved her cuddles.

She also (over) loved her toys which needed mending on our watch.

Every day we were entertained by Ollie's friends who came knocking, or more accurately, knocking down the door 🤣

Beaches galore, Coromandel - Feb 2025

We had a gew days to spare before starting our next sit in the Bay of Plenty. So we decided to go the long way around, via Coromandel, to spend some time with our friend Megan. The view from Megan's deck really is mesmerising ......

We spent the week eating fantastic food and taking a trip right around the Coromandel. The beaches in this area really are spectacular. 

Soon enough, we were off again. This time to a sit in Mt Maunganui. Here, we were to keep the very good company of Toby ....

This little girl likes to drink running water!

This was a super relaxed sit walking Toby on the beach across the road and the playground next door and snuggling down with everyone in the evening. Both cats required daily medication and this was no trouble at all.

Fun times for sure.
